This is a great bangle - bright shiny silver with ball ends, both of which screw off to take beads, and screw back on to keep them secure.
Approx 7.5cm or 75mm in diameter.
Why not use a 2 inch chain extender with these as a safety chain - simply fit behind the ball on either side, at whatever length you feel is appropriate, to hold the bangle together and to stop their tendency to flex off the wrist if using heavy beads.
This ingenious tip was given to me by Fiona Sands in Gloucester, who makes gorgeous lamp work beads and needed a bangle to complement her creations - thanks, Fiona!
Size 2/0 seed beads fit this wire, so you need to look for beads with a hole of approx 1.5mm and larger to fit.
Some ideas are:
Size 2/0 seed beads - the transparent or silver lined mix
Packs of 4 Chinese Lampwork Heart Beads
10x8mm and the 8mm round sizes in the Handmade glass bead single colours - ie: red, aqua, orange, topaz etc
Acrylic Bicones
6mm bi-colour crackle glass beads
Plastic metallic beads - 6mm rose , heart, 5 petal daisy
Wooden beads 6mm and above
6mm bright and shiny round SP beads
Please note that some of the single colour assortments - like the blue and purple contain beads which will fit the wire - these are usually approx 6-8mm and round or oval. Similarly there are beads within the cranberry and cobalt assortments ( the nugget and rectangle) and the lustre bead assortments which will fit too, but others will not.
