HOURS OF BUSINESS

Pretty Creative was set up to enable me to work from home whilst being on hand to care for my 3 school aged children as and when they need me. It was important to me from the beginning, back in 2005, to have this flexibility as we live in a remote area with no childcare facilities and whilst time has passed and they are now all teenagers and able to look after themselves, I've now moved on to be Mum's Taxi as we're 3 miles from the nearest bus route and so I still need the same sort of flexibility to cater for their needs.

With this in mind, my normal term- time working hours are:

Monday: 8.30am to 4.00pm

Tuesday : 8.30 am to 4.00pm

Wednesday : 8.30am to 4.00pm

Thursday: 8.30am - 4.00pm

Friday: 8.30am to 4.00pm

During school holidays, I tend to be here less of the time, although orders are still dispatched on a daily basis, apart from during my annual closures. Details of these appear further down the page and will always noted on the front page of the website when in effect and on the answerphone so that everyone is aware when there will be a delay in receiving their orders.


Please take into consideration the fact that , on occasion, they or I can be ill, and so I reduce my working hours accordingly, catching up when back at full strength.

Also, delivery times may take a little longer during school half term and summer holidays whilst I juggle work and ferrying the children here, there and everywhere and I ask for your empathy and understanding on this. I endeavour to process orders within 4-5 working days at these times. SCHOOL HOLIDAYS 2012-13 (INCLUSIVE) :

February Half Term: Monday 20th February - Monday 27th February 2012 ( yes, we're a week behind the rest of England due to the age old tradition of Shrovetide Football in Ashbourne, meaning that the town closes completely for the football match which runs from about 1pm til 10.30pm on both ShroveTuesday and Ash Wednesday each year)
